).Picking up the pieces now after not getting contract renewed (blessing in disguise), looking for different work, putting the bedroom/rest of house back in order etc. Motoventures have mainly come down to putting a new bumper on the ashtray after it got all mashed up (at about 1mph, parking. jeez.)... still can't find a replacement mirror for the one that got snapped off though (almost got wedged down a country lane that slowly turned into a footpath)
One of the things to do though is sell some stuff *plug plug*. After doing this to my bedroom
whilst plouging through a 3ft high double-wide pile of papers that were next to the bed (finding such delights as one-year runs of two different magazines still unopened in their plastic mail packets), I found some leftover polo stuff I'd forgotten I'd had buried near the bottom. To prevent the usual nonsense and confusion of forgetting to look at the board, PMs etc, I'm going to offer it up one or two things at a time, ask for MSN or email contact, and then take it to eBay if there's no interest after a couple weeks... i.e you (and CP) get the first shout
.(that's just the start of it too - one small part of one room. aaigh...)
First up, a set of early Genesis clocks, 138k on the dial, rev counter and temperature light, all the good stuff; plus that damn set of 1.3L piston rings, if anyone's doing an overhaul. Prices will be reasonable, as I know they'll probably go for chicken feed on fleabay.
(etc etc... yes i'm gonna put a proper "for sale" post up... once i've found the laptop charger as this thing has about 7% battery left now)
Have a good time at the show this weekend if you're going, looks like the weather's going to hold (again); I shall probably be in the cinema having an all day 3-movie binge to make up for lost time.
