1. Ive always had a plip key with my other cars but this doesnt have one meaning i have to put the key in the door to unlock/lock it.
Im sure ive read somewhere that its possible to add the remote plip to the car ????? Is it ??
2. 1.9 Diesel, isnt the quickest thing in the world, but would like to make it a little quicker.... Is this possible ?????

Before i bought my 9N, I was interested in a basic 1.4S model, which like yours was only a manual key operation central locking.
I didn't buy it in the end, but spoke to VW before thinking of buying it and was told that flipkey's are only factory fit options and they can only fit the Votex Alarm - which is just a keyfob based remote. Though I've noticed every dealer tends to give you a different response so best to ask your local dealer and see what they say
