Washer Jets

Post by ModifiedMadness »

Mine went all funny on Wednesday, weren't spraying right.

Went to VW and was told they can check them and see if they're blocked and then unblock them, or replace them

£35.25 to unblock
£63.69 to replace  at both of them prices.

Went back today to get them to look, and the Technician comes out and says "alright mate, I've unblocked them instead of fitting new ones to save you some money"

So I'm thinking, ok that's cool. Go to pay and the bird says £17.63 (huh)

Then she goes, "I charged you the wrong amount", to which I said "on purpose or by accident"

Then came the reply that made me think I'll go to her more often.

"On purpose, I thought that was too much"

Sorry for the long post but I just thought I'd share it with you because I thought it was some quality service 8)

Nice to hear that there is some good customer care out there after all! Having said that, my dealership are always really helpful and the last few times I've been in for work on the car, 10% has been deducted from my bills. I must go there too often

On a similar subject, this is the first year of ownership in which I have recieved letters after servicing and otehr major work to enquire as to whether the job was carried out successfully, plus my car has been getting washed if left at the dealer for more than a couple of hours! Good stuff :)

Mine do a crap job of washing the outside

They done the inside ok, but I think I'll get them to leave the outside for me 8)

It's just good to have jets that work again.
