black vw badges

Post by Bryony84 »

I've been looking for some black front and rear vw badges for the gti on ebay but all I seem to be able to find is ones that will fit the 95/00 polo/derby. Could anyone give me any advise on where they got theirs/best place to buy?

thanks

Try VAGparts at the bottom of the main page, thats where I got mine from. When I get in from work, I can post up the VW part numbers you will need, if you like?

Thanks for the quick replies!

I'd rather not spray mine as I want to keep all the standard parts. Part numbers would be great Si if you don't mind!!

Oh. Worth enquiring on the off chance that they have existing stock perhaps?

Front badge: 3B0 853 601 A/01C
Rear badge: 1J6 853 630 A 041

That front badge part number is for one that is 3cm deep (there is a choice between badges, one type is slimmer) as IIRC my existing one is the same size.

Like you Bryony I didn't want to spray my originals in case I want/need to put them back on in the future!

Cheers

Thanks for the link, but I've seen these ones already, they say fitments are for: Polo / Derby 1995 - 2000, so I don't think they'd fit.
