Something strange

I realised today that when I press the button for recycled air to be used not fresh air from outside of the car the light goes on for a couple of seconds and then turns it self off. Sorry if I am vague but has anyone else had this problem? And what could the cause be? I have checked the fuses and they are all fine.

Mine used to take ages to come on and was very slow at responded - diagnosis was a bugger recirculation motor (caused by my placement of my hands free control box

) Expensive mistake on my part.

Now it's been replaced it works spot on every time...

this might not be your problem but that's what caused mine to do that.

Cheers for that, the car is due for a 28000km service in a month or so, I will get the dealers to check it out then

The recirc function doesn't operate when the controls are set to demist the windscreen......
