whats the correct version of vag.com for the gti??

Ive just got my usb cable , so i just need to download the correct version.

it mentions something about the correct interface on ross-tech can anyone help me with this ??

Release 3112n work fine with the GTi. That's what i have.

P.S i use a serial connection instead of USB, supposed to be better.

i use release 409-1 with a usb connection.. if you buy a 3rd party cable they normally give you a usb>>serial converter driver which you will need to install first..

Where did u get the cable from, i have downloaded a copy but i believe it is a old version any ideas of a torrent or good place to download a newer copy??

got my cable from ebay. Â£6.99 you can then get the software from the ross tech website
