what size are the speakers in a polo 6n2 gti 3dr?

i want to upgrade the standard speakers in my car. Its a polo 6n2 gti 3dr. It has a speakers in both door cards at the front, with a tweeter above them, and speakers in the door cards at the back. Just wondering what size they are, including the tweeter and any recommendations for speakers.

Also i was wondering if anyone has upgraded the speaker wire going to the speakers, and if so did it make a big difference, and was it easy to do?

I've uprated speaker wires previously in my old fiesta. But it didn't really make any difference to the sound IMO

I do fancy uprating the speaker cable as I have reels of it at my house but I just dont see the point in a lot of hassle for no real gain. It is supposedly to reduce crackling and inference but decision is yours at the end of the day

just been trying to upgrade the speaker wire and failed. Theres a special connector block and thats the only way in, and cant get to the pins, so ive had to wire my speakers to the headunit and using factory original wire
nevermind.

heres some good speakers JBL GTO6506ce, fit perfect

You could have just broke the connector block out? but if your like me, breaking something electrical wise always feels wrong. I had to remove the connector block in my old fiesta though
