Mine was on the blink so I got a used one,now that;s gone and I'd to put the old one back in.
Anyone got one??? It's for a 1990 MK2 with the instrument panel dimmer under the switch, part no 323941531J
Cheers
dismantled them both cleaned and then put them back together, give one a test on way oen road and no better than before, worked for about 2mins then off again.Put the original one back in all cleaned (amazing the amount of crap built upon terminals) so fingers crossed
When they go off,if I move the switch back slightly they'll come back on again,so the terminals at the back aren't makeing a strong enough connection.....just worn with age

Take it it's either off or on at speed 3,nothing in between?
Think the problem with that is that the connections aren't insulated and get corroded and break.
Replacement ones are about £25-30,but are insulated so a new one won't do it again.
In saying that mine has been like this for years and still ahve't replaced it!
