Haynes Manual

Haynes Manual.

Where do I get one. Halfords don't seem to do one for the GTi

Any help appreciated

There isn't one specifically for the GTi my friend. You can get a manual for the mk5/6n2 which covers some stuff that the GTi has (interior and some maintenance) but the GTi 1.6-litre engine isn't covered in any way IIRC :|

Worth having, possibly. I might be getting one myself before long :)

Yes they are pretty useful, id say the majority of stuff in there is still very useful!

And they now cost going on for £18+ :!: And each time I buy one the information gets less. It doesn't even tell me what bulbs I need! Crazy or what?

They only cover the 1.0 and 1.4 8v/16v if I remember. No diesels or GTI

That's correct, so if & when they do bring one out for those models, that's more dosh in their coffers.

You can get VW workshop manuals off Ebay, better than a Haynes better diagrams.

Thanks all.

I had the Haynes for my Punto Sporting and it was more like a Heinz Manual to be honest.

the VW workshop manual sounds interesting.
