To extend warrenty or not...

Post by owenjt »

Just got a letter through about renewing my warrenty for another 12 months at a cost of £336. The question is, is it really worth it? Had my car nearly a year now and had vw assistance out once. Also planning on going travelling the middle of next year so will sell the car then, guess this will increase the price but surely not by that much?

(everything's come at once - gotta get tax, MOT, insurance and a service  )

I didn't bother, my window regulator and motor needed replacing and wasn't covered which cost me a fair bit, really seemed worth it then

I'll just take the chance :D

I guess it is a lot considering what it covers, most things seem to come under 'wear and tear' which it doesn't cover.

Also does anyone know how much the service will cost me? It's done about 72k now.
