yep i'm running one of the raceland 4-2-1 manifilds on mine, you just have to have a sensor blanked off and the lambda probe loom extended for it to fit...

Does this manifold definitely fit the 6N2 GTI, i have spoken to a guy selling one of these manifolds who said it didn't fit his GTI. Or has he just been scared of modifying it so it would fit.

Any advise would be great.

cheers

They do fit, but need a little bit of work.
First off, a small piece of stainless over the hole for the EGR valve.
Then you need to heat up and warm up and bend the down pipe to give the extra clearance needed to avoid the sump.

Also recommended some exhaust wrap around each pipe, not only will it help keep the heat out the engine bay but it stops the tapping sound the manifold can cause.

Tigz,

what is the tapping noise caused by? it always did it on mine after the manifold was fitted... never made a diff. to performance jus got annoying sometimes...

I think the steel is a little thin perhaps.
