Pedal Box Help?

What is this pedal box exactly, and does it have anything to do with my brakes?

Its what your pedals hang from, so yeah i suppose it has a little to do with your brakes. When they snap the clutch cable holding bracket goes, so it feels like your clutch cable has snapped. If you haven't had the mod done yet go to the dealer, its free.

How long is it free for? and what do i ask for? Do need to have a warranty with VW?

I dont think mine been done, but i dont want to turn up the dealers and it end up costing me loads

My pedal box is getting replaced on Wednesday. VW are covering 100% of the cost.
