Xenon Conversion!!!

Post by mattyy »

Guys,

I've come across a pair of VW POLO GTi 6n2 xenon headlamps with the ballasts for £395. (Retail for about £800ish for the pair)

I own a VW Polo 1.4TDi 6n2, and im deciding what is the best option:

1. Buy a HID Kit for my existing headlamps.
2. Buy the GTi Xenon lights and fit them (VERY TRICKY I HEARD!!)
3. Buy the 6n2 angel lights, which cannot be converted to xenons, so they are really just for show.

Help me out, coz the guy wants to know by 5pm 17 Nov 2006!!!

Don't get angel eyes, they are gash.

Either get the actual xenons or get projectors and fit the HID conversion kit to those

disagree with the comment alex says if he means they look gash. I think they look the best personally, but definitely dont offer the best for vision. The dipped headlights are quite crap and dont think you can change them. and the halo's are yellow, but i think you can change the leds for a blue or white halo.

HID Kits won't work with angel eyes because of the halos I think.

Proper xenons look much better mate and you'll get a nice beam pattern from them too which looks better and is also safer at night.

You can put the xenon gas canisters int the angel eyes. Rimstyle, agel eyes are £180, with xenons and silvatec indicators is £234.

Iam planning on upgrading my angel eyes to include the xenon and also change all the leds in the halo to bright white
