My poject car! Pics of bit's done so far.

Post by JOHNTDI »

Here she is my W reg with 53,000 miles! Had the cam belt and water pump and brake fluid done last monday by VW. So far mods are:- GTI anni. badges front and rear, 15" Bathurst Lupo GTI wheels( Only fitted while I am refurbing the BBS!), Alpine I-pod head unit, GTI sill covers and 16" bbs rs2's in my boot ready to split down and refurb! Thinking about getting centres powder coated black!

Looking good mate, for all of those that don't want to C&P the links, I've sorted them out

Don't know why it didn't work for you though John :?

That glimpse of the BBS RXII in your boot looks sound, how much in need of a refurb are they? They will look absolutely perfect with gloss black centres and polished rims, it is exactly how I would finish them 8)

Wheels aint too bad to be honest and there is only one wheel which has a slight graze on the outer rim! Gloss black is the finish I am going to get done on the centres!

That looks great. Did you have much trouble fitting the anniversary sills?

Looking good, your plans for the wheels sound great.

Didn't you just sell a grey lupo gti?? I so, what are your thoughts in comparison.

Sills trim where no problem at all! Yes I had grey Lupo GTI but sold it cos needed to get a bigger second car and free up some cash! The lupo has a better clutch/gearbox but apart from that both cars are similar! More spec on the polo tho!
