Finally some pics of my Polo

Post by Bryony84 »

Been trying to get out and take some decent pics of my Polo for a week or so now, but there just aren't enough daylight hours in the day! As it is, these were taken at dusk!

I got the GTI just over a month ago now and I absolutely love her, only mods I've done so far are black front badge and black/colour coded rear badge. But plans for the future (when I can afford it are)

Lowering
Black B Pillars
New alloys (black centers, polished rims)
possibly debadge the back or do something else with the rear lettering
GTI door sills
Possibly lighting the footwell as my mate has this in his car and it looks great.

Thanks Si, I thought since I've been around here since I bought the car I should finally do some photos!

Funny thing was, as I was taking the photos, some guy in a range rover wound down his window and asked if I was selling the car!!

Aw, I nearly bought the wrong one - was originally looking for a black one, but then I went to see this one as a comparision, and fell in love with the red!

And red ones are of course the fastest......actually no lets not start that again.

Good looking car, I'd just been wondering what a red one would look like with a black rear VW badge.

It looks much better with the colour coded background so if you fancy doing the mod I'd definitely recommend that! Still undecided on what to do with my back lettering though.

Love this pic, the best of the lot if you ask me. Captures the gti well.

Yeah the red looks good. So what colours did they do the GTi's in so far I seen Silver, Black and Red. If I had one and a deep wallet I'd like to see one in the R32 blue colour.

They only came in (satin or reflex) silver, flash red or diamond black pearl. If money were no object then deep blue pearl (the R32 hue) would be a great colour to respray one in 8) cost you though!!

I'd definitely agree with that, I love my red one, but there was a golf r32 parked outside my office a couple of weeks ago and that blue colour is gorgeous!

I really liked the red ones as well, but i had a mk4 in red and it was faded, i couldn't be arsed to t-cut it every week.

The sliver ones look good too, but i got a black one.

To be honest, i dont think you can go wrong with a GTi
