Fit an open cone with a heat shield at the front of the engine bay(requires cutting stuff but it's the best way). The bmc's are restrictive and the car is far more responsive and pulls harder due to the shorter and more open route.

Mouse i doubt very much that you noticed a decayed in power due to the hole in the intake hose if anything it would have improved throttle response!

Well I definately noticed it was down on power, and that was just before I discovered the hole

There's no way that the hole in the intact would ever cause a drop in performance. Nae chance mate.

It's wasn't a major drop, just slightly noticeable when accelerating
