help me fill my stocking this year!

Post by PeteJ »

ok my parents still spunk money at me like there's no tomorrow (the beauty of being an only child)
so some people may have noticed i've got a fjord blue 1.6 8v.
so i think im going to go with a clear indicator front/side combo.
i got roughly £100 of xmas money to play with so what other mods you suggest? im just after styling at the mo, i have wheels too so :
rear lights
grilles
spoilers
skirts
splitters

lets keep it new stuff but as cheap as possible so i can get as much as i can haha.

if anyone else has any other suggestions bar styling that dont suck that'd be nice too

also if anyone knows a good place to pick up cheap drilled/grooved discs and braided hose let me know please.
same goes for anyone wanting to donate a gti rear axle :)

please help me out.
thanks

rubbish wheels! 15's.. but brand new and new tyres. came with car.

when you say mk5 lights, do you mena oem lights trimmed to fit?

i do keep my eye out for fjord blue 16v bumpers but have as of yet never seen them... i may want to point out that the caddy vans have 16v bumpers :P may be a cheaper way of getting some!

lowering springs/shocks are sat in my garage courtesy of rich16v (thankyou!)

I'd recommend a debaged slatted grill, maybe some retrofit aero wipers from wiperblades.co.uk. Clear indicators and side repeaters would be a nice addition, too.

Maybe some German plates, or some new number plates would tidy up the front end, too 8)

Wasn't it 'Pacific Blue' Jon? which is LR5V (if you need to get some paint, Pete) the Germans call it Fjord Blau.

i'd be happy for a set of 16v bumpers, but i wouldnt be able to afford to get them sprayed :(
could always be a WIP i guess.
when i went the dealers it popped up onscreen as fjord, and my touchup was fjord so i didnt realise it was a different name in uk/germany?

like it matters :P

anyone know a good place to get front/rear 16v bumpers?
