How much was your de-badged grill? I'd like one, I've just sprayed the badge black for now!

You can pick up those FK de-badge grilles at VW shows for around £30-40, they are usually a bit cheaper at shows.

hey all, i seem to have a pile of mods sitting on the floor in my garrage waiting to be done, unfortunatly i only get weekends off and realllly don't feel like doing anything major (like spring  )! i have now got a sports steering wheel which i am hoping to fit this weekend! ok, escuse time! when u take the steering wheel off, u r left with the steering shaft, on the steering shaft there is a kind of exspansion sleeve that i need to come off so the new boss can go on, and of course i didn't have the tools to do it wit! doh! now i hopefully have so we'll see how it goes over the weekend! also just won on ebay some rear light clusters (the ones fitted to later mk3's with the indicator and reverse light smoked)! so hopefully as soon as the come through, i'll fit em! i'll keep ya posted and get some pics as soon as possible!

steering wheel was a bit more hassel than it was worth! the boss kit was badly machined so got a momo one sent to me, this one was far far better and would fit onto the shaft without even taking the sleeve off! which was nice!

Image

also i have now fitted the lights, they look soo much better than the old ones but the pics i took were too dark and u can barley see them! i'll get some pics in good daylight soon! u'll just have to imagine! lol

hopefully, as i have got 2 weeks of a xmas, some of the mods that i have got sitting around in me garage should actually get on my car! all i have really got waiting is the lowering springs and a new door, also for exmas should have my CD changer so i'll be able to get that put on! i'll keep ya posted.

the plan is to get it all done for the uk-polo's southern meet! hopefully see some of ya there! :D
