9n facelift - likely to happen? UPDATE: Coming May 2005!

* VW would never sell a car that low, yeah it'd look nice but can you imagine the complaints from customers??
* They would never sell one of there car purposely debaged (plus it would mean bonnet redesign).
* Granted, they'd probably have a redesigned bumper but one with air vents that you could live in? I don't think so...
* Its unlikely they'd redesign the headlamps as it would mean massive re-engineering costs, not only to the headlights, but also the slam panel etc...
* Plus it looks a bit barry

Unless you meant that would be your perfect modded 9n GTi

Not trying to start an argument, but VW aren't known for that style of GTi. More like this...

(bar lights obviously!

Looks like this *is* going to happen (well a facelift, anyway - don't know what it will look like).

Scheduled for May next year.

The European version of the design VW249 (pseudonym Tupi) debuetiert on that Geneva salon in March 2005 - at the same time with the facegelifteten Polo, is revalued and place makes in such a way for the new price crusher.
