LED Footwell Lighting

Here is the wiring diagram I posted on UK-MKIVS:



LED's are hyper bright blue LEDS from Foxy.

I don't know what ohm they are, but if you buy the leds from foxy or myself
(I get them from foxy) he can supply the correct resistors for the job.

Be careful when wiring/soldering.
Double/tripple check all wiring and insulate everything!
Also be carefull not to burn yourself/your car with the soldering iron!

Footwell Lights = Lights in the area you put your feet in! (ie. Where your pedals are)

These use blue LED's which match the lighting on the instruments in the Polo

I think Foxy is charging £2.10 for each LED with a resistor. (Plus P&P)

He also does them fully wired up with heatshrink round the cables etc, but I'm unsure of the price.

Still reckon the install'd look original if you used additional puddle lights and placed them in the footwells. By all means use the blue leds but position them in the vw spec lenses.

Doh, already done that.... rear fog..... new speakers... amp..... the list goes on!

Yeh I can see where you're coming from there des.... do VW make footwell lights in any other model?

can u not just buy a set of led's that run off the cig lighter?? £6
for 2 bulbs and the wwich looks quite trick for them as well
