Mk2 Polo Brake upgrade?

Howdy folks , newbie here , but not new to V-Dubbing...
My question is , Will MK1 Golf GTi discs and calipers fit straight on to my MK2Polo Saloon? Was helping a mate with the brakes on his Golf and it set me thinking.... Cheers in advance for advise and help.

yea the mk1 golf gti calipers will fit streight on you will need the gti carriers aswell

mk1 golf 239mmx20mm brakes are just g40 brakes sticking these on your mk2 with goodrich hoses will make brakes load better.

other option is 256mmx20mm brakes using early scirocco 16v carriers or audi carriers and mk2 golf 16v calipers. although u will need to alter your master cylinder .

the latter ones better for mk3 polos
