No. Firstly 18 inch wheels are far too big for the Polo, and secondly, the PCD of the the wheels is wrong.

You'd be able to get 18's on but it would be a lot of money, a hell of a lot of work and look crap IMHO :D

Nothing is impossible if you throw enough cash at the problem. Your turning circle and ride quality will suffer badly though IMHO. Without drastic work to the arches and arch liners there would be no scope for lowering either so it could end up looking like a budget version of the Polo Dune

The Anni RC's are 7.5jx18 ET35 5x100PCD

The polo is 4x100PCD.

Even with adaptors to fit, it will just look so wrong.

17's don't look much better, stick to 16's or 15's to maintain ride quality and handling.

Theres a Polo that goes about my way with 17" 5 spoke polished Audi TT alloys can't remember the name of them of the top of my head and they look good on it however it took some amount of arch work to get them to fit and have it lowered at the same time. He wanted to try 18" on it but it would have involved cutting into the sills which sounds a little scary so he stuck with the 17"s. I've never paid much attention if it was TT alloys with adaptors or they were replicas made to 4x100 to fit the Polo.

You will struggle my friend! I have 17"s on and lowered about 40mm and it just sits nicely.

I second that. They all look like over sized roller skates, just like the Renault clio on 17's.

6n2 with anything bigger than 16" looks pretty silly.

on the 9n/9n2 you can get away with 17's looking quite good though. Saw a 9n on 17" golff mk4 santa monica's and it looks REALLY good.
