New pics of my GTi, with refurbed RXII's

Post by M@Turner »

Well, my RXII's which i refurbed are back on the car, i've lowered the rear by about 10mm more, taken off the mudflaps and fitted them aero wipers.

So after only having my new tyres on for 1week, and already picking up a nail, i get it repaired give the car a quick clean and take some pics.

Sorry pics are a little dark. The light was fading. Let me know what ya think!

They do look better outside and on the car.

Yes they do look a slightly different colour to original, but I wouldn't lose sleep over it. I'd rather that than scabby unrefurbished wheels!!

I think they look brilliant, and also a real breath of fresh air. And they go great with the suspension drop !

That does look good. I personally think it would look better with blac or red, but still looks really tidy mate!! :D

Cheers for your replies guys. I like them so am going to keep them. Only problem is that with them been so light in colour, they show up dirt and brake dust so quickly!

Thought i'd post a few pics of the alloys before refurbing them.

The last pic really shows how bad a condition they were in under the layer of paint the previous refurbishment had covered up!

That's certainly a hell of an improvement!

I've got this set of RXII's to finish off over Christmas.
