Odd one with my Polo this morning.

Post by SAM_MK4_19D »

Tried to start my polo this morning and its turning over slowly then giving up. Sounds like a typical flat battery which isn't the end of the world but just seems odd. Its given no warning it was about to go. It starts first time everytime and hasn't been deteriating or anything. Before I change the battery does anyone have any other thoughts. Don't know how long the alternators last as I'm nearly on 97k. If it had got gradually worse I could understand it. I also bombed to and from metro centre christmas shopping yesterday which should have given it a good charge being a 100mile+ round trip. I also do 100 mile round trips for work every day of the week so its not like its had loads of short runs.

Happy Christmas all by the way!

MIne does that sometimes on these really cold mornings. I just let the glow plug light go on or off 2 or 3 times before I fire up the beast  bloody diesels
