Why are you buying from halfords?Biddy17 wrote:i have no idea what alloys to go for without seeing them on the car first![]()
im buying from halfords, any ideas anyone?
take those wheels from halfords, 460 for a wheel + tyre package. or you could get a decent set of second hand wheels from one of the forums for around 200 - 250 (maybe refurbed at that price...) and then say 60 quid a corner for new tyres (try blackcircles.com)
so 200+60+60+60+60=440
keep an eye on edition38.com , the for sale section here etc etc
Sorry, but those wheels are too 'open' for my liking. They'll just show off your tiny brakes and unsightly rear drums.
I know not everyone can afford expensive BBS wheels, but you can do a lot better than Wolfrace. Anyway, I'm sure you'll be seeing plenty of other cars with those wheels on. Have a look around on the internet, I'm sure there will be better wheels and better deals than Halfrauds.
There's lots of much nicer second-hand wheels for sale on other forums.
But it's not my choice. I'm sure wolfrace have a wheel simulator on their site, which you can use.
There's a lovely set of 15x7 Amils with tyres going for £400 on E38, by the way
http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.p ... opic=70855
And some Lupo GTI bathursts for sale on club lupo, with tyres, for £280.
