HELP! side lights

How the hell do you replace the front side lights on the GTi.

Any help appreciated

It's a right pain of a job - I am going to get my local garage to do it to save time, MOT is due next month and i've had a side light out for about 3 months

The Hayes manual is quite good, involves taking the bumper off.
