GTI IN A 6N????

CAN ANY ONE TELL ME IF A POLO GTI WILL FIT STR8 INTO MY 6N 1.6 8V WITHOUT ANY MODDS????

They fitted the 1.6 16v in MK4s over the water, so yeah they go in fine :)

i am not too familiar with the 6N's but if you got a 1.4 16v would alot of the wiring loom be similar??

I would of thought not as the 6n 16v is different to the 6n2 16v. The 1.6 16v fitted to foreign spec 6n's is a different engine and produces 120bhp instead of the 6n2's 125bhp. Though i couldn't tell you the differance. I do know it uses a different clutch though...

6n gti run a distributor, 6n2 doesnt



and no, the wiring is not similar at all!
