Democracy in action?
The government's proposal to introduce road pricing will mean you having to purchase a tracking device for your car and paying a monthly bill to use it.
The tracking device will cost about £200 and in a recent study by the BBC, the lowest monthly bill was £28 for a rural florist and £194 for a delivery driver. A non working Mum who used the car to take the kids to school paid £86 in one month. On top of this massive increase in tax, you will be tracked. Somebody will know where you are at all times. They will also know how fast you have been going, so even if you accidentally creep over a speed limit in time you can probably expect a Notice of Intended Prosecution with your monthly bill.
If you care about our freedom and stopping the constant bashing of the car driver, please sign the petition on No 10's new website (link below) and pass this on to as many people as possible. (and you know all the immigrants will get away with not having this)

The petition creator "The idea of tracking every vehicle at all times is sinister and wrong. Road pricing is already here with the high level of taxation on fuel. The more you travel - the more tax you pay.
It will be an unfair tax on those who live apart from families and poorer people who will not be able to afford the high monthly costs.
Please Mr Blair - forget about road pricing and concentrate on improving our roads to reduce congestion."
Hrm....how about putting money on finding a less pollutive way of running cars, or making everyone convert to gas within a certain time frame...or even making public transport better. I'm all for saving the planet but when it comes to either 1.5hrs and a 6 pound bus fair, or driving in 20mins...I know which I choose...
as for making a single mum pay 86 poound a month to take her kids to school.....theres no way that will materialise....
touch wood.

Interesting quote by Tony Blair today:

Made in reference to the criticism from eco-nutters, claiming it was environmentally irresponsible for him to fly long-haul to Miami. He'll be on Top Gear next. It's like telling people you shouldn't drive anywhere
