Dropped something in the radio hole...

Post by mikehowett »

Hey guys, need some help.

I stupidly dropped something really small whilst working in the radio hole. I've managed to recover one bit of it but the other I can't find, so it looks like i'm going to have to remove some trim to get at it, just not sure which bits to remove and how??? I think the bits I need to remove are the pieces that run along the right hand side of the passenger footwell.

why not pull the cubby box out under neath the radio (or take the cd changer out if that's what you have) and have a poke about... what is it you've dropped? :)

I have the MFD sat nav and it was removed when I dropped it, so it's gone all the way to the bottom. It's part of a switch, a spring and something else I think, like the bit you have in a pen that makes it go up and down when you click it. If you get what I mean

I have 2 screws fall into the abyss that is near the passenger footwell. I tried to get hold of it by removing some trim but it went under the carpet. I suggest you remove the trim around there and look around.
Hope this helps

On the passengers footwell theres 2 screws holding up some sound deading, dont know if this wil help.

they are two torx screws, the plate then needs pluuling towards you horizontally. if not take out the heater controls.
