POLO GONE !!!!

Post by RICHARD HARPER »

Just a post to say that about a month ago i came to a hard decision of trading the OLOP in :(

The reason for it was the gearbox had went for a second time etc etc (And i wasn't wanting to fork out hundreds of pound to fix) as i'm trying to save for a house and get free from my parents :)

So me and the bird came to a mutual decision of getting a Clio 172 (French is know, but i suppose it has a long warranty covering about everything except wear and tear) as she's planning on selling her car to fund our house savings. :)

So anyway i was on Auto Trader tonight looking for a car for one of my mates and outta curiousity thought i'd type in POLO GTI.

And what came up, My old car, there wanting 4 grand for it...

Not much of a mark up since i traded it in for £3700

Here it is

Its fifth car down (SMS Motors),

or this

So i thought i'd let you's guys know, and say cheers for the help over the time i've had the Olop :D :D

You never know i may be on here again, as i wouldn't mind a Polo in future (as main or second car or if i get fed up of the frenchy  ) once i get my foot on property ladder :)

You can buy a new one in the future! Are they fixing the gearbox for the new owner?

Is it all the way in Leicester now?!

Nice in silver! I like those gun metal colour alloys you get for the 182

Looks nice....will be the lighting and the fact the wing is plastic (iirc) and will reflect different to the metal door.

My Polo is the same, the door looks a slightly differnt Silver from some angles.

The Clio's looking good so far Richard, a mate of ours has got a 182 Trophy. They're nice except the rear bench isn't trimmed to match the front Recaro's :?
