And ironically this is the time of year you should be cleaning it most due to all the road salt and crap

As Ollie said - a PC will remove paint defect such as swirls or scratches rather than just masking them with Glaze/Polish or wax giving a better larity to paint reflections.

Example of some work i did on a M3 CSL

Some good PC'ing there mate.
Wish I could justify the expense of buying one. Maybe i'll try and find someone locally with one thats willing to do my car for some cash come the start of summer.

You can easily justify the price if you like your car to look good. It's also handy when your selling a car

Imho my car does look good!

Yeah ok if I got a PC and got rid of the swirls in my paint (of which fortunately there are only a few) the car would look better. But then after the car had been de-swirled once I dont think i'd need the PC again (or at least not for a long, long time. As I'm not going to use public car washes or cheap sponges to clean my car again so am unlikely to get the swirls back). And yeah ok the PC does make waxing easier but tbh it's not that hard in the 1st place.
Or am I missing something?

I would like a PC to get a perfect shine all over my car, but they are quite pricey and I think i'd rather spend that cash on other mods. For now at least. Maybe once i've modded my car a bit more and got a new cambelt I could think about getting a luxury item like a PC.
