Those of you with a BMC filter

How did you remove the piece of plastic that connects the original vw air feed? I want to remove it so i can have my own going into the wing? Pics and step by step would be perfection :D

Me too. I've ordered my new cold air feed and will finally be getting it fitted next week.

Need to know where the bolts come out of as I will be putting it back to standard if I ever sell the car

The only bolt I had to undo to get the OE airfeed out was under the power steering fluid reservoir. Once this was unclipped the bolt was accessible and the feed came out easy.

Some good pics in this guide.

That's what I did & then fumbled around for a while getting the new pipe into the oval (ish) hole where the OE airfeed used to be, got there in the end though :D

Take your car to VW for a cam belt replacment.
If its any thing like my local dealership, they'll not bother refitting it :x
