Hey a polo newbie here!

hey all just purchased my new polo and shud have it in a few days. its a 2001 mkv i litre 3door. it gun barrel grey and im dyin to do some small mods. so i hav a few little questions 4 u ppl:

1: is it hard to change the normal grill to the gti 1. iv seen some on ebay and other shops and would love to buy them. or do they need extra work

2: how is it best to lower the polo.

Welcome to the forum. I think the grill just unclips, it's no more than a couple of minutes job :)

seriously! have to do that! oh n cheers. goin 2 order me wheels soon now too. goin 4 15" with a nice dish style but im not sure on the colour yet!

Yup the grille is just held on by 4 clips across the top of it.

Quick and easy, I tend to take mine out to dry it off after washing my car.

so i hav my first mod decided in 2 mins! impressive. any links 2 where to buy them. not ebay tho! cheers

The badge is separate. I think the grills are less than £30 delivered. The red line is a mod which some some ppl have done themselves.

get sonme coil-overs mate. They can be fitted by a garage or if your keen do it yourself, you will need some spring compressors though!

cheers id have to get a garage to do it as im not mechanically inclined! my mate is a mechanic but i wouldn trust him on my baby! ha

cheers. its a great site. the only problem is there is too much stuff i wanna do to my car after seeing the cars on here. gonna cost me a fortune
