Not as far as i know but can't be too hard...new wings, bonnet, bumper, lights, cross member(poss).

Same princible as a Bolf or Gora....

yes, its possible with the parts dino mentioned, plus you'd need the 9n3 wing mirrors as the facelift front fenders do not have indicators in them.

as said above. oh, and the front panel definalety has to be changed!

VW Racing did exactly this with the race car. They also fitted a cup kit at the same time.

i supose it depends if you bought the parts new or not. think it would be expensive from volkswagen.

IIRC, didn't someone on here say a while back that they tried it and it didnt work or something :?

I'd imagine its a lot of work if its possible though. Probably much easier to just trade in for a 9N3 :lol:

yea i would have thought that, by the time the parts have been bought, sprayed and fitted, plus the wiring for the mirror indicators. would be easier to by an actual 9n3

i have looked into doing this and it can be done quite simply, its just bolt off / bolt on parts

at the time i could have done it for about £800 inc painting with a mix off salvage/ new parts

but i still prefer round lights so didnt bother :wink:

seen a kit for this on ebay.de, although i couldnt read it it seemed to show all the parts?
