IMO you cant be spraying the front badge. the only way it looks good is if you smooth the bonnet and remove the badge.

thats my next project btw :D

Personally, I thought your front gti emblem sprayed red looked excellent and was a great contrast to the black paintwork/grille.

I've never liked the black VW emblems front or rear, I just don't see the attraction with them. IMO they look worst on red or silver, as it just emphasis the bonnet notch. IMO just colour code the inserts on your rear VW emblem to match the paintwork.

Yeah i see what you're saying there marc, I do like my red front GTi badge...It's just im quite fussy about them matching the rear (black rear gti badge, then front red gti badge) :?

On that subject, and I know its a bit off-topic, you can blank your numberplates on any image you put online but sooner or later someone else will just stick an image up from a show or a meet with your numberplate in plain view for all to see. A battle you can't win I'm afraid :?

I try and make sure I remove the number plate info from all of my images before posting, whether it is my car or not but not everyone does this. Catch 22?

Cheers

Nah, I had these plates on, but was stopped for them.

Image

The polished plates I've got were the same size so they covered them, whereas now I've got a 100% legal rear plate they are too small to cover it.
