Primer for Badges

Post by Mouse_GTI »

Right I've been to Halfrauds and got me some primer, laquer, reflex silver and matt black paint and some paint stripper so I can redo my front badge and colour code my rear. I got some grey plastic primer as there was no plastic filler primer. Will the reflex silver paint cover over the grey? I'm assuming the black will.

The only other colours they had were white and red plastic primer

Grr what a crap day, from waiting in 50 mins traffic then arriving at Uni to be told the 2hr class is cancelled to going to VAG and them giving me the wrong badge meaning I have to go all the way back

I've made a complete cock and balls of the front badge. Thought I'd be clever and split it so I could do the inside silver with the black outside. Sprayed the inside and all the paint has dried up in different layers with drips and flaky bits. As for the top half I got the black paint on and there were a few little bubbles. I couldn't get them out so now I got to wait for it to dry and strip it all down and start again. Bloody spent 4 hours doing all this (including prep work of sanding) and still can't even do a simple task, so annoyed at myself
