I'm thinking of buying myself a digital camera in the new year. I want to spend around £150.
I have these two in mind :
Fuji FinePix A202 £129.99
Olympus C150 £139.99
I prefer the look of the Olympus. Both are 2M pixels.
Any comments on these ?. Is 2M pixels sufficient or should I save more and get 3M pixels.
Ta,
Chris.

To answer your question on the MP's; I've made the best looking pics on a borrowed 2 Mp Canon camera, better than my own 3 Mp Casio Exilim or my dad's 3 Mp Fuji F601. However, if you plan to print big pics, you're better off getting a higher Mp rating. In other words, a higher Mp rating does not automatically mean higher quality photos.
At the same time, 3 Mp camera's don't cost that much more nowadays, so you may as well get a higher rated model that'll last you longer.

All my pics are taken from a FujiFilm 2mp camera. I can't remember the model of it now though...
I have found my Fuji to be a very good camera. It's been really good right up to the moment it broke.
I have abused that camera something rotten, and it lasted just over a year.. I'm looking at getting another FujiFilm camera, but am looking at the black 5mp camera. I ain't all that fussed anout the megapixels though (as my 2mp camera took amazing pics) but am after extra features, like shutter speed etc..

My 2mp takes decent photos (imho) and I think it has a lot to do with the lens.
Take time to try a few cameras out.
Go to a specialist shop and actually have a play... I thought I knew which camera I wanted, but when I got there and had it in my hand, it fealt crap and cheap, and the viewfinder was like something you'd get on a disposible cam!
So I ended up paying 300 quid for a 2mp Panasonic Lumix with a Leica lens!
