Dent repair

Post by bombertdi »

I have a small dent in the rear panel of my 3 door polo. :(

Thinking of having a go to repair it.

What is the best method of doing this as the paint is not damaged.

Someone told me to use a rag with hot water or hairdryer to warm the area to prevent paint cracking, then use plastic head hammer and block of wood to gently tap the dent out.

Is this the best method ???

Thanks
:D

it's not worth doing it yourself if the paints not damaged
contact chipsaway as they will either do the pdr or have a contact that will do it
it's a very skilled job and only costs about £40 per panal if you make it worse your gonna end up paying £100's
