PMSL nice one... i'm almost doing that about a car I'm probably going to buy.

Bonus you even get the spoiler with that one, alot of the ones on ebay don't have that

yeah I realised that after I contacted him. Problem is picking up the thing - he says a courier is 110 quid! I don't know why he can't post it? he says it's 5 massive boxes worth.....

It's in Lincoln so is quite far from high wycombe. where there's a will there's a way.

next thing I need is primed side strips.....

I picked my kit up from Leicester...

That was one interesting trip with my mother and her freelander....

Being 6ft3 and having the passenger seat slid all the way forward for a trip home (kent) is err well interesting.

you happy with the kit? easy to fit? how much was painting?

is the primed side strip set a kit or can you get just the sides? I'm hoping to smooth front and possibly rear bumpers..... so might not need the whole set!

Sure you don't have to by the bump strips as a set.

I got mine painted fairly cheaply with a body shop which in my opinion was utter s**t.

Under a week I ripped the front spoiler off (accidently) and I think the guy who painted/fitted the kit used the glue that came with it so I've had to have one skirt stuck on since.

I love the kit... granted I've changed my front lower spoiler now and I have a different roof spoiler now because the bloke also titsed that up no end.

damn! how much?!

I think the 3M mastic is the dogs danglies when sticking the kit on.

and yes - the bump strips are sold individually - just found out. quite pricey though once they mount up!

anyone know if you can fill the existing bump strips?

Should imagine you can use some high build primer and then smooth off before painting will get them much closer to smooth than they are at the moment.

Im intending having a go at colour coding mine soon using this method.

Ive seen some done as they are and to be honest you cant really tell anyway from a couple of paces back from the car, especially if its a dark colour.

cheers, might give that a whirl - apparently they're double sided taped on with locator pegs. So I can probably take them off, tape up the holes and then do them over a weekend or two :)

can't be too bad - I wonder if sanding them is actually a better bet.
