I noticed in pictures that the wiper blades can look too close together, and this is most people with the Lupo blades

Do www.wiperblades.co.uk not ship to Dublin?

Would probably be easier to just buy some direct fit Aero wipers for it.

I dont like the look of those retrofit blades at all, worse than standard I think. The kinks and the height of arm puts me off. I'm going to buy a Lupo GTI arm and wiper for the passenger side and bodge something together for the driver's side.

J-GTI: I'm driving a 1.0, for the moment!

It seems they only ship to the UK.
I got mine from ebay for £29.49 delivered, only took two days to get it.

I suppose Lupo arms look nicer, but they are twice as expensive and a hassle to fit too.

when you need to replace the wipers can you just replace the rubbers or is it another 26 quid shell out?

I beleive it is just the rubbers. I just bought a set myself, and the results are much better - Quieter, smoother, and they definately clear the screen more effectively.

Just ashame my washer fluid keeps drying a clearish white :( So I have to clean the windscreen with spray when I get home from work sometimes.

Cheers,

Alex

Ordered the Bosch wipers in the end. Fantastic service from wiperblades.co.uk ordered Wednesday lunchtime and they arrived Thursday morning. Less noise and clear the windscreen better than before. A top purchase! :D

I ordered some for myself today as my ones now have the yellow dot fully showing and aren't doing the greatest job.

Amazing service from WiperBlades.co.uk, got the Order Confirmation e-mail at 16:19, Order Processing e-mail at 16:25 and an Order Despatched e-mail at 16:35.

I'll definately use them again and recommend them to anyone who asks.
