Sorry not replied earlier, got some serious connection issues

Im getting bored with the silly insurance quotes Ive been getting, and Im struggling to find a car I enjoy driving more than the Polo so I think Im going to keep it another six months or so.

I took out a V6 156 out for the afternoon this week, took it back to the dealership after adding another fiver to the fuel tank.
In the afternoon I got less than 10MPG!

Ive also managed to hit 190 miles in the Polo and still have 1/4 of a tank left :D
Best I have got was 24MPG on the first fill up after buying the car.
Since then Ive not got anymore than 20!
Realised the climate control being on the whole time wasnt helping!

Town driving kills the MPG, I usually get about 270-280 to a tank.

Manchester and back saw 393 I think it was.

the lexus is200 is a superb car! my mums had one for 5 years or so and its never broke down (touch wood!) bar a flat battery due to interior light left on! passenger space is comfortable, ride is so smooth and quiet in normal driving whilst its got a thrust and sound like jet engine when you floor it!! plus on a wet day u can drift a little with its rear wheel drive... but have to say insurance and mpg might leave your wallet a little light, otherwise i would have one!

gotta be the Octavia VRS for me, good engine, quick, cheap to tune!

what about a leon cupra?? audi a3 dash, vw running gear but suspension and handling has been set up by Seat so it handles much better than a Golf mk4!
fantastic engine, easy to tune and u can pick them up for around 5k now and they do occasionally come with leather! insurance group 16 aswell (the one i had was).

Great call Dan , that what i brought when i sold the polo gti about 4 months ago , MY52 leon cupra (face lift model) for just over £7000. i think you will not get a facelift model for under £7000 right now as they are holding their money right now

Going back to fuel consumption, my 1.0E gets a good 400 miles to the tank - i think its something like 57 miles to the gallon. I had a new 1.4SE for the day last week when mine was in service, and i had only done 60 miles with a quarter of the tank. I was almost in shock  :P

Cheers,
