That was one hell of a crash and as for the news this morning on the radio saying Hammond did not comply with the safety procedures as he saw the tyres starting to shred...COME ON the human reaction isnt that fast especially the speeds he was doing!

Be thankful he's still alive and maybe the vehicle team should of double checked the wheels if anyone

Train Crash TV

It might surprise you, but no one's ever asked Top Gear to make a public information film. Until now. Jeremy dons a high-visibility jacket and a pair of hard hats to extol the dangers of pensioners, level crossings and, erm, high-visibility jackets. OK, so he got a bit confused. Basically it's all an excuse to pile an express train into a Renault Espace at high speed, with seriously spectacular results.

I heard the guest this week was Simon Pegg, but I guess he isn't. He's much better than Hugh Grant, who is boooring

Tonight's episode was a lot better than last week (minus Hugh Grant's shameless plug

). The Veyron is amazing at 250mph, it looked extremely stable. Hopefully someone with a Veyron should be able to lend TG one, to do the track, like Nick Mason did with the Enzo.

Shame they missed the Train Crash bit. Roll on next Sunday, with their trip to America

Really enjoyed last nights TG, and although Hugh Grant only did the show to plug that new movie he's done (which I think I'll be giving a miss) - I did crack up when Jeremy said 'Now I'd like to get onto your lap', I think I must be a bit wierd!

Anyway, good show and it was nice to see Captain Slow in the Veyron!
