police vs polo

Post by LowPoloCo. »

got myself in a cop chase today  damn LAPD!!!

some woman stepped out in front of my car as i was turning into a road in Portsmouth, and i slammed the brakes on, and the dude in the mazda behind me almost hit me. So i burnt away thinking he'd be mad, and pretty much lost him, but then i noticed him absolutely belting it behind me, so i was like "f*** he's gonna fill me in if i stop". So i tried to lose him, which resulted in me going the wrong way down a one-way street in a lame effort to lose him ( i even turned the lights off, it wasnt even dark!!!). i pull-in up this one-way road, and park, coz i think ive lost him. He comes screaming round the corner, practically at warp speed (mach 10) screeches on the brakes. I was like, right, step out of the car, thers going to be a rumble - uhoh

out steps a police man! imagine my concern!!! he followed me coz i was driving like a loon, trying to get away from him (he was in an unmarked mazda 365 or whatever they're called, and he provoked me!!! which im sure can be classed as entrapment). it ended up with me being really appologetic, and got a £30 fine for driving up the one-way sreet. regardless of the fact tht i did twice the speed limit up that one-way road. He said that for a moment he thought i was resisting arrest!

but, no points on the licence, and he said my lights were legal, and that they looked good, so im happy!!!!

got away with that, keep an eye out on traffic cops on TV thought!!!

So for no reason what so ever you decided to speed away from a car that wasn't chasing you until you decided to drive like a knob whilst breaking many traffic law;s and endangering other people on the road?

WOW your cool.... :?

I thought this was actually quite amusing, i dont think its sounds like your bigging yourself up! just sharing a giggle. If anything it makes you appear a little silly....reminds me of something my friend dappy would do... and he has that nickname for a reason :P

Actually this highlights a major downside to modding your car, IF you decide to speed..or rob a bank, mow an old lady down etc, anything involving a police chase, you stand a much smaller chance of hiding.....Dammit my plan for Mrs's winston from no.6 is foiled....

ideally yes m8, but now i have no money due to this fine! in honesty, i have 85p in my bank account.

Parents are more than a little angry with me! :x they would have done the same in the position, neither me or my dad would have stepped out of the car if we thought we were gonna get beaten up, we're both uber pussies!

so, in response m8, yes, i still want it done, but not JUST yet, unless you fancy doing it for free!!!!

If the car behind nearly hit you, it is their fault for traveling too close.

Any car hit you from behind is automatically at fault, unless you are reversing up one way street
