On the way to work today i....stalled.....without realising....!!

Approaching sowton roundabout (exeter) in traffic. Ive no idea how i managed it...but i was just sat there and suddenly realised that the battery light and oil light was flashing red at me....ive had a fair bit of trouble with the car and ive yet to service it, change oil etc....so i was like shhhhhhhhh****t and i paniced and then the cars started moving in front cuz it went green...so i stuck me hazaards on....(which would have scared the people behind) then i thought, hang on, is this thing even on? started it back up again and sped off just to catch the light turning orange and red....sped through leaving a line of confussed traffic stuck at the red light behind me....it was so embarrasing!

Which brings me to something else, i think it may be because i cant put the clutch down fully, cuz my chairs too far back really, but it wont move forward, its totally stuck....

i was saying just yesterday to someone about this, but i added at the end 'its ok though, you mustnt need the whole clutch, cuz it never stalls when i brake....' famous last words huh?

Spray the runners in WD40 and then also grease them afterwards. This should hopefully enable you to move the chair (i am assuming the chair isnt' as far forward as it will go).

You are not really in total control of your car if you can't depress the clutch pedal fully, even if the biting point is high(er).
