60mm Lowering Springs

Im looking for a set of 60mm lowering springs but cant find anywhere that does them,do you get such a thing for the Gti if so where can i get a set,looking at gettin the springs until i can afford coilovers any help appreciated!

I don't think I've ever seen any 60mm lowering springs. But you might like to check out Eibach's Sportline springs, they will lower approx 50mm and still retain the ride comfort. Several owners have tried them out and I can't recall anyone saying anything bad about them!

theres a guy on club polo selling a set of apex 60mm springs for the 6n2

he told me they where more like 60/40

but there brand new and he only wanted 75 including p+p

and is that running origional shocks??

Yup, I'm running 50mm Eibach Sportlines on dampers. Have been for about a year now.

Ride is a bit harsher, but I do also have 16" wheels with 195/40 profile tyres which essentially amplifies any road imperfections!

Try Jackson Tuning on Clubpolo. I bought my Coilovers off him, can't fault the service he provided.

For reference, Eibach sportlines use the same rear springs as those in the Pro-kit, so the rear only lowers around -30mm.

oh no :shock: I was hoping to lower mine 60mm when I got the cash and coilovers are a bit expensive for my liking

40/40 - £145
60/40 - £145

Just to confirm the 60/40 kit can be lowered 60/60.
You can get shocks and springs for £130 (ish)

shocks AND springs? thats pretty good price, bargain in fact! could you post up some more details please, as in are they uprated shocks and if so whom are they made by and more importantly where do i get it from? Cheers!

cheers for that fellas, come at the right time as i think my front shocks have just about gone! I've just pm'd philj about my options for a 1.4 TDi.. i'm pretty interested in the H&R kit in 60/40, anyone heard any feedback on them?

jamex make a resonable set of coillies for bout 350 if any one reads pvw have a look for them in the i brought a pair from midland vw for 300 and lowers from 40 to 80mm and there just as good as fk but half the price :D
