there is an advert in pvw i think for car bits and in there there are fitting kits which you can buy. i'm sure you can get all types of mirrors from venom motorsport too now for the mk3.
i have some dtm cup mirrors which are universal and used the blanking plates from vw to use as a template to attach the mirrors

I looked for ages for replacement mirrors, but now, after months of counsilling and therapy, I have come to terms with my big mirrors, and have actually started to like them, taking them in under my wing, nurturing them, and treating them like my own....

What about getting some blanking plates like Nick, then getting some tiny carbon race ones... not seen them on a Polo yet. You can get them from Demon Tweeks for about £80 i think.

I hated mine when I first got my car too, but I've yet to find anything else which I think would fit in with how my car is styled.

My car sports "The VAG look"

I've had them on my Golf for the last 3 years! Albeit not carbon, but the style you are on about! These are the only mirrors I would consider putting on my Polo (even though they are crap and you can't see much out of them!!) but like krupa am going for a more VAG styled car.

my golf..

I've always loved the MK3 mirrors, they have the 80's VW charm! 8)

(IMHO the best thing about the MK3, bit of the 80's and a bit of the 90's!)
