polo engine cover

Can anybody please help me!.I have a VW polo 1.2s.(not sure what mk it is, but it is on a 52 plate and it has the 4 seperate head lights on the front(( like a mercedes )) ).The problem i have is that i do not know how to remove the plastic engine cover.There are no visable screws or clips and i just dont want to steam in and break it.PLEASE PLEASE help me!!!!!

You just need to give it a hard pull. Grab hold of one corner of the cover and pull it hard and repeat for the others.

I'm not certain but i think one of the 1.2 versions has the little box thing with the 'VW' and '1.2' badges mounted on it. This comes out and then there is a few long screws I think if yours is like this :D

whilst were on the subject of engine covers, does anybody have a VW 1.4 16V engine cover to sell me?$$$$$ waiting. Must fit 9n.
