hi , I have the 1.4 se 16v and wanted to know if it would be a straight swap with the gti engine?

Engine, loom, clocks, keys and ECU will need to be replaced.
Everything else can stay.

dont suppose you know where I might get that? I phoned breakers today but no luck. Can anyone tell me whats different from my 75bhp se and the 100bhp.

dee vub where did you get the engine from and much ? I cant find one anywhere

I have the chance to get my hands on a gti engine with gearbox, wiring loom, ecu, clocks, chip and transponder, driveshafts, throttle pedal all water pipes. I have the 1.4 16v se and need some advice on how easy and what problems there are if I hav all the above.
