Thanks mate.

Is this the longest referb in history?
Finally got the centres shot blastered, managed to get them done for free which was nice.
Just got one more rim to polish, and get the centres off for powder coating.
Looking forward to seeing them on the car though :)

Refurb is looking good!

I've been working on a set since September, not helped by the wheels being in one place and me being in another though!

Its a Crystal CMP 12"

Ive owned it four years now, and its still not fully run in

 You should hear the thing, it really is pretty immense.

Possibly the loudest single 12 I've ever heard!

Looking forward to hearing it.
What size is the box again?
I'm thinking of porting the CMP, plan was to finish the fibre glass enclosure I started, but tuning the damn thing will be tricky as hell.
Also the Rockford amp I'm using, is 800wrms @ 4ohm, fine for the 500wrms Crystal while sealed, I'm just not sure if I'll be pushing it vented.

Saying that I have a directed 2400D which I used for a while.
1200wrms @ 4ohm and it didn't seem to do it any harm.
Like I said though, the subs still not run in!!

Box is 2.25cuft tuned to about 32hz, it's getting about 1500w RMS shoved up its backside
