no problem mate, why not do the same if it works well eh?! that's what i did!

they cost me £450 with very good bf goodrich tyres in the right size.

the 2nd hand market seems to be about

200 - wheels that need a refurb
300/350 - refurbed TTs

so I figured £450 was good. these are as good as refurbed as they have only had 6 months use.

very happy!

I am in Durham, did you get the retrim done around here, and would it be crude to ask about cost?
i got them done fairly close to you, station upholstery in chester le street, cost was about £900 all in , he had to change the centres on the front tt seats tho as we couldnt find a match for it
Just out of interest did the TT gear knob fit straight on?
yes mate it fitted no probs

also, can you use the same wheel bolts as standard on the 9N? or do I have to buy another set?

yeah, just paid the cash in this morning! was only on the autotrader site for 3 days. could have held out for more money, but getting rid of the passat was a priority.

just a few tweaks planned for this mk6..... nothing too over the top. need some coilovers and then I'll have all the parts I want.

8)

so, anyone know if I can reuse the existing alloy wheel bolts? I presume I can!

yeah, but unsure as to exactly what set I'd need - there are differnt tapers and angles and lengths, so if anyone who's got TT's on a 9N could reply, that'd be spot on!
